Faced with the need to rapidly develop, deploy modernize and maintain systems that meet the needs of the warfighter and are affordable, CommerceBasix (CBX) provides a set of services that facilitate the accelerated development of affordable systems to meet those needs today and in the future. CBX provides five services, each of which can stand-alone or be integrated into the Accelerated Affordable Modernization Process™ (AAMP™).  This enables the client to choose the service or services that best meet their specific requirements.

• Development of courses of action for material approaches or alternatives that can accelerate the development of affordable systems based on the contribution of commercial technology relative to technology that is military specific.

The AAMP™ Methodology

The AAMP™ methodology utilizes the R&D spending and pace of technology development in commercial industry and performance data from a broad range of sources such as: military and technology subject matter experts (SME’s), other M&S tools, technology development trending data, product performance specifications and economic and financial data.
